But he makes standard lingering eye contacts with me , complement me lots ,smiles a whole lot and more recently he has been offering me hugs after conversations.

In any case I just found it pretty odd and abrupt especially since he was the one to initiate the dialogue almost two weeks back by saying he missed me. I’m just quite disoriented by this whole thing and any insight would be fully appreciated. Like what does it mean? Should I make a couple more efforts, If that is so what should I say/do? But 3 months back we received A different Co supervisor. I’m a department head but naturally we’re not over the same level. His first week there rumors were already started about us. We strike it off right away. We went out after work once and it was within that first week. We haven’t been out again. I’ve experimented with. But he’ll either say he’s tired or I took to long to respond back. I’m assuming he’s lying haha. But he still would seem incredibly interested when we see each other. He would seem like he is into me and then backs off and then always finds a reason to text me, but just doesnt give my any kind of signal to whether he likes me enough or not?? I’ve been seeing a man for three months now. Everything was going great ,until two weeks ago . I had been getting off from work and he called me to request if I had been hungry.
